We went downstairs and didnt see the moon. We walked forward again. When we came to the open area by the road, we looked east. A golden full moon appeared in the dark blue sky. We came to the open field and looked up at the dark blue night. There were several not very bright stars. I asked my father curiously, Why are there so few stars? Dad smiled and said, have you ever heard of bright moon and few stars? The moon is too bright tonight, so some stars cant be seen if the brightness is not strong. In the grass beside the road, several fireflies were flying around with lanterns. Looking up at the moon, the moon became smaller, whiter and taller, like a big jade plate. Late at night, we went home, and the moon followed us, as if reluctant to go home with us. I said loudly to the moon, ll see you again next Mid Autumn Festival!
