如何导入教学?
教师上课的时候将衣服卡片拿出来,对学生说:“Look here, everybody. These are my clothes. Do you know what they are? This is my skirt. It’s beautiful. I like it very much. Do you think it’s beautiful? This is my coat. It’s very nice too. Who’d like to come here and try my coat?” 教师举裙子问学生。接着,教师又举外衣问学生:“What do you call this? Yes, it’s a coat. Now look here. What are these?” 教师边说边拿出一条长裤并指着两条裤腿问:“What are these?” 教师又必要提醒学生单复数。接着,教师依次拿出自己带的其他衣物问,比如,shirt (男用的,女衬衣应该是blouse), dress, shorts, hat, jacket, socks, shoes 等。如果教师没有带实物,也可以用自己身上穿的衣物做例子。教师在举例的同时要带领大家一起说这些词,为了让学生感到有兴趣,教师可以找学生试穿自己的衣服。示范之后,教师对学生说:“Now who has made some paper clothes? Please show them to me.” 教师先让大家举手示意。然后,教师说:“Now listen carefully. Who has made a dress, please come here with your dress.” 教师让所有做裙子的同学拿着自己自制或画的纸裙子站到前面给大家看,教师对这些裙子要发表看法说 “Oh, this is very good. It’s beautiful. I like it very much. That’s wonderful. It’s so lovely.” 等赞扬的话。同时,教师问大家:“Do you like these dresses? Which dress do you like best?” 教师应在问话中强化dress 这个单词,让学生熟悉这个单词。接着,教师对这些同学说:“Thank you, please go back. Now next, who has made some trousers/pants? Please come to the front with your trousers or pants.” 教师用类似的方法,将其他的同学都依次叫到前面,让他们展示自己做的衣服,但教师也要同时带领大家学、说这些衣物的英语名称。在大家熟悉这些衣物名称之后,教师要给学生示范名词性物主代词的用法。教师可以这样举例说:“Look, this is my dress. This is mine.” 教师边说边把句子写在黑板上。

接着列举以下的例子:
This is your pencil-case. This is yours. yours
This is his pencil. This is his. His
This is her book. This is hers. hers
教师问大家:“Have you noticed something? We have some new words. Mine 代替上面句子中的 ‘我的连衣裙,’yours 代替上面句子中的your pencil-case. His 代替上面句子中的his pencil. 而hers 代替上面句子中的哪两个词呢?”学生应该能回答该问题。接着教师对学生说:“Now listen carefully. I’m going to say a few sentences. ‘Your book is here, but mine is there.’ 这里的mine代替上面的哪两个词? ‘This is my bike, but yours is there.’ 这里的‘yours’ 代替上面句子中的什么? ‘This is Lily’s picture, but Mary’s is not here.’ ‘Mary’s’ 代替的是上面句子中的什么?”教师这样追问的时候,大部分学生基本能明白,所以,教师就可以带着大家多读读这些单词,以保证学生们能记住。请学生两人一组做对话,以书中的为例。
单元教学活动2 Listen, read and colour..
第二部分是听句子涂颜色的练习。学生应根据听到的句子,将相应的衣物涂上正确的颜色。教师要提醒大家听力不是按照图的顺序说的,要注意听清楚每个所描述的衣物。要涂的衣物与颜色依次是:
skirt — pink hat — bluedress —red glasses —black
jacket —green T-shirt—orangeshorts —brown socks —purple
shirt —yellow trousers —grey 说完后,全对的的同学教师适当鼓励。
单元教学活动3 Listen, look, point and say.
第三部分是字母ch 的组合练习。这一类的组合比较多,但单词中的字母数量也相对多一些,教师可以找一些简单的词进行听写,比如 chin, lunch, much, chess, chest, chair, chick, china, choose, 个别的字母组合,如ck 可以直接告诉学生写就可以了。多跟录音朗读几遍加深印象。
单元教学活动4 point and say.
第四部分是游戏活动,其目的是综合练习所学的衣物名称。教师可以先让学生复习一下这些名词,然后再进行游戏活动。教师可以这样组织课堂:“Now let’s play a word game. Before we do this game, let’s go over the words. Let’s say them together.”大家读了一遍后,教师继续说:“Now let’s play the game. This game is very easy. But it’s also difficult. One person goes to say these from the very beginning. From here, and then to here.” 教师用手指着说:“If you can say each word correctly, you’ll get 2 points. If you can say all these, you can get 50 points for the first round. Then you say them again from the very beginning. If you can say them without stopping. You’ll get another 50 points. But if you stop somewhere, then you count the words and add the points to the first score. Are you clear now?
Let’s do it.”教师让学生开始玩游戏,并进行比赛。最后看谁的成绩最好。
单元教学活动5 Odd one out.
第五部分是剑桥二级的考级题型,但是它并不是很难。在给学生每组的四张图中,有一个与其他三个有所不同,因此,学生需首先指出,然后再说出为什么不同就可以了。比如第一组中,学生可以这样说:“The fourth one is different, because this is a book, the others are clothes.”第二组学生可以说:“The second is different, because it’s on the hand, the others are on the head.” “The third group is that the third is different, because this is an umbrella, the others are clothes. In the fourth group, the first one is different. The first one is a pencil case, you can’t wear it, but you can wear the others.”只要学生能做对题目,然后说出原因就行,如果学生不能完全说出句子,教师可以适当地提醒学生。总之要鼓励学生说出来。
教师可以让学生两个人一组按照所给的模式进行练习。
单元教学活动6 Show, ask and answer.
第六部分是展示活动。教师首先说:“Today we are going to invite all of you to come here to the front and show us what you are wearing today. First let’s welcome Group One to come to the front.” 教师让第一组的学生到前面站好,教师说:“Now the rest of you can ask each of them the question, ‘What are you wearing today?’ Then the first person tells us what he/she is wearing today, OK?” 站在前面的学生依次说出自己所穿的衣服。可以一问一答,也可以一问多答,接着教师可以让第二组的同学到前面说,然后第三、第四组等。此外,教师也可以让两个人一组进行对话练
习。两个人练习时,可以先是同座位的两个人,然后再与旁边座位的同学继续对话。最后,老师再检查他们对话的效果。
单元教学活动7 Design a beautiful hat.
第七部分是一个创新部分。学生应该根据自己的想象,设计一个新款的帽子。最后,教师可以让学生展示自己设计的新款帽子。
单元教学活动8 Let’s chant.
第八部分是歌谣。教师可以让学生先念,念几遍后再说歌谣。由于这些词在前面的活动中已经大量练习过,因此不会有太大的难度。
单元教学活动9 Try to say.
第九部分是音素练习。教师对学生说:“Now let’s look at the sound practice. Let’s read these sounds one by one. Let’s begin.”如果学生能很顺利地读下来,教师就不必再继续教;如果教师发现有些学生发音还是不准,可以再强调一下基本音。
单元教学活动10 Look and write.
第十部分是拼写练习,教师可以让学生加深印象,到黑板上拼写,一次可以多叫一些同学。没有在黑板上写的,可以在自己的书上或本上写单词,这样保证大家有充分练习的机会。
单元教学活动11 Look, and say.
第十一部分是句型练习。本题要求学生看图并选择表示单数的句型或表示复数的句型表达,然后再让学生说:“This is a T-shirt. They are shorts.”等等。这里的shorts, glasses, shoes, socks, gloves, trousers都用they are ...而T-shirt, jacket, shirt, dress, cap 都用This is...
课后作业
请学生自己按照第五部分的样题编五组词,每组四个,其中有一个不一样,剩下的三个词要类型或某一个方面相同。
为自己设计一套衣服,可以在卡纸上画下来,然后减下来。下次带到学校来。
天天练,描红,熟记并默写新单词及句型。预习好unit14 并做好听读练习。
“回家后主动帮助爸爸妈妈做一件事。然后,在下一个单元里找一找你做的事英语怎么说。如果没有,请你问老师。”
