Physical attractions humorous words A brave heart just some superficial impressions Different interests and hobbies personalities 备注 教 学 进 程 与 设 计 values Step 2: Learn the new words and expressions Some people believe in love at first sight, and many boys and girls do fall head over heels in love with each other at first sight. But I suspect that at first sight they were attracted only by each other’s physical appearance, or a few witty and humorous words or a brave heart, etc. Such things may be superficial. When the two people get to know each other better, they may find that their interests and hobbies do not really match, their personalities conflict, and their values are poles apart. With the passage of time, the clashes between them may mount, eventually leading to a breakup. Boys and girls get to know each other in many ways. They study together in the classroom, so that one person may be impressed by another’s academic ability. They may also participate in a sports meet together, where a person’s athletic excellence may amaze many views. The student union often organizes activities that require the participation of many boys and girls. Similarly, the class monitor also sponsors various activities.

It is not necessary for every student to discuss all the questions, soothe teacher may assign one or two questions to each pair or group. 3. Ask students to repeat the dialog line by line with one student speaking after the other. Play the recording sentence by sentence when the directions are clear to students. Task Three If time allows, ask one or two students to retell the story to the whole class.
