DESCRIPTION/ORDERINGINFORMATION
Thisseriesoffixed-voltageintegrated-circuitvoltageregulatorsisdesignedforawiderangeofapplications.Theseapplicationsincludeon-cardregulationforeliminationofnoiseanddistributionproblemsassociatedwithsingle-pointregulation.Eachoftheseregulatorscandeliverupto500mAofoutputcurrent.Theinternalcurrent-limitingandthermal-shutdownfeaturesoftheseregulatorsessentiallymakethemimmunetooverload.Inadditiontouseasfixed-voltageregulators,thesedevicescanbeusedwithexternalcomponentstoobtainadjustableoutputvoltagesandcurrentsandalsoasthepower-passelementinprecisionregulators.
