摘要：A countersunk head screw, intended in particular as a window installation screw,has a thread 15, extending up to the countersunk head 12, on its thread shank 11. Thecountersunk head 12 is constructed from a first wedge-shaped section 16 which isadjacent to a second, markedly flatter, section 18. The opening angle of the first
truncated-cone-shaped section 16 corresponds to the opening angle of normal
countersunk head screws, but it has a shorter length, seen in the longitudinal direction ofthe screw. In consequence, the overall length of the countersunk head 12 is reduced andthe thread 15 can roll completely to a point closer to the countersunk head end of thescrew.
